God's Judgment
God's judgment has been misunderstood for a long time. God's judgment is described as a process of development for most. It is used in terms of a verdict and final decision, but in only two situations scripturally - for the systems of the world now under the guidance of the adversary that are to be destroyed, and for those who "refuse to obey" the gospel during the time of God's Kingdom, after everyone has been instructed in righteousness (Isaiah 25:3-9; 26:9; 11:9; 65:17-20). For mankind now, those who don't believe are not judged (John 12:47), and those who do believe are judged as a part of God's loving development of His children.
For a better understanding, please remember that God discusses judgment with two different entities in the Bible.
1) The modern day rulership - when God discusses judgment in a harsh, direct format, He is generally discussion the judgment of the "systems." For example, the judgment of Babylon in Revelation 18 - that is a direct, swift, punishing judgment or "verdict." It's not discussing all of the individuals that are a part of that system, but rather the destruction of the system itself.
2) Judgment of individuals. This is specifically for the prospective members of Christ's Church now, but in the Kingdom, it will apply to everyone. It will always begin with education and awareness, and then become more verdict-like as time goes on for anyone who is not progressing up the "Highway of Holiness" discussed in Isaiah 35.
Here we discuss God's definition of judgment with the Israelites of the Old Testament, the judgment of Christ's prospective church members during this age, and then the judgment during the kingdom of God in the future. Please read along in your Bibles while watching, pausing the video to absorb the scriptures one at a time.
Note during the study of the scriptures: do the scriptures hint towards a current judgment of all mankind? Or does it hint to a future judgment involving education? Is the work of the church in the next age to condemn, or build up?
God's plan is loving.
